CLUB INFORMATION

POSTAL ADDRESS:

COMMITTEE 2000:

ANGFA Queensland aims to make information on all aspects of the care, propagation and conservation of the freshwater fishes and associated aquatic life of Australia and New Guinea available to a wide range of people through publications and meetings. A newsletter entitled "In-Stream" is published every second month, carrying notification of forthcoming talks and field trips, summaries of recent talks and activities, and a wide range of general information.

Our meetings are held in Brisbane at the Bar Jai Hall in Alexandra St, Clayfield (near the intersection with Sandgate Road, opposite Clayfield Railway Station). Meetings are usually held on the second Friday of every second month, starting in February (unless they clash with a public holiday). Meetings start at 8.00 pm and end around 11.00 pm. Meetings generally consist of two talks, a raffle, and end with an auction of fish and plants. Membership of ANGFA QLD is $20 per year.

For a limited time, ANGFA Inc. is offering ANGFA Queensland members access to its secure sign-up facility, where members can choose the Dual Renewal option to sign-up with ANGFA Queensland and ANGFA Inc (receiving Fishes of Sahul) at the same time.
